This book is dedicated to (in)equalities as faces of modern Europe. The authors of the articles represent various research centres from all over the world and, most importantly, a wide range of disciplines and approaches, which they present in their texts. This monograph is a result of our shared reflections during the 2nd International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference, which took place in November 2021 in the Center for German and European Studies at the University of Wrocław in Poland. 

The monograph consists of five sections. The first one is dedicated to inequalities in relation to minorities. The following section is devoted to the problem of gender inequality, while the third one focuses on the phenomenon of inequalities in the digital space. The fourth section concentrates on inequalities in the context of various public policies of the European Union, whereas the monograph’s final section is devoted to different philosophical understandings of inequality.
